phream Responsible Gaming Tools

phream provides a comprehensive suite of tools to help you stay in control of your gaming. These features are available to all players and can be activated at any time through your account settings.

Deposit Limits

Set daily, weekly, or monthly deposit limits to control how much you spend on phream. Once your limit is reached, you will not be able to deposit additional funds until the period resets. Limits can be adjusted at any time, with increases taking effect after a 24-hour cooling-off period.

Session Time Limits

Set a maximum session duration to remind yourself to take breaks. phream will notify you when your session time is about to expire, and you can choose to extend, take a break, or log out. Regular breaks help maintain a healthy balance between gaming and other activities.

Reality Checks

Enable periodic reality check notifications that display how long you have been playing and how much you have wagered during your current session. These reminders help you stay aware of your gaming activity and make informed decisions about when to continue or stop.

Take a Break

Need a short break from gaming? Use the Take a Break feature to temporarily suspend your phream account for 24 hours, 7 days, or 30 days. During this period, you will not be able to log in, deposit, or play. Your account will automatically reactivate after the break period ends.

Self-Exclusion

If you feel that gaming is becoming a problem, you can self-exclude from phream for a minimum of 6 months or permanently. During self-exclusion, your account will be closed, and you will not be able to create a new account or access phream services. See the Self-Exclusion section below for full details.

Activity History

Access your complete gaming history at any time through your phream account. Review your deposits, withdrawals, wagers, wins, losses, and session durations. Transparency is key to responsible gaming, and phream ensures you always have full visibility into your activity.

Recognizing Problem Gambling

Problem gambling can affect anyone, regardless of age, income, or background. It is important to recognize the warning signs early so you can take action before gambling becomes harmful. If you or someone you know exhibits any of the following behaviors, it may be time to seek help.

1
Spending more money or time gambling than you can afford. You find yourself depositing more than your budget allows, or playing for longer than you intended, often losing track of time.
2
Chasing losses. After losing money, you feel compelled to keep playing in an attempt to win it back, often leading to even greater losses.
3
Neglecting responsibilities. Gaming interferes with your work, school, family obligations, or social life. You may skip important events or neglect relationships to continue playing.
4
Borrowing money to gamble. You borrow money from friends, family, or financial institutions to fund your gaming, or you use money meant for bills, rent, or other essential expenses.
5
Lying about your gambling. You hide the extent of your gaming activity from loved ones, or you lie about how much time or money you spend on phream or other gaming platforms.
6
Feeling anxious, irritable, or restless when not gambling. You experience withdrawal-like symptoms when you are unable to play, and gaming becomes the primary way you cope with stress or negative emotions.
7
Unsuccessful attempts to cut back or stop. You have tried to reduce your gaming or quit altogether, but you find yourself unable to stick to your plan and return to playing shortly after.
8
Gaming to escape problems or relieve negative feelings. You use gaming as a way to avoid dealing with personal issues, stress, anxiety, depression, or loneliness, rather than as a form of entertainment.

Self-Exclusion: Take Control

Self-exclusion is a powerful tool for players who recognize that their gaming has become problematic and want to take a break from phream. When you self-exclude, your account is immediately closed, and you will not be able to access phream services for the duration of the exclusion period. phream takes self-exclusion seriously and will enforce it strictly to protect your well-being.

Self-exclusion is available for the following periods:

6 Months Minimum exclusion period
1 Year Extended break
3 Years Long-term exclusion
Permanent Lifetime exclusion

How to Self-Exclude from phream:

  • Log in to your phream account and navigate to the Responsible Gaming section in your account settings.
  • Select the Self-Exclusion option and choose your desired exclusion period (6 months, 1 year, 3 years, or permanent).
  • Confirm your decision. Once confirmed, your account will be immediately closed, and you will receive a confirmation email.
  • Your exclusion is enforced. During the exclusion period, you will not be able to log in, deposit, withdraw, or play on phream. Any pending withdrawals will be processed, but no new activity will be permitted.
  • Reactivation (if applicable). If you chose a temporary exclusion (6 months, 1 year, or 3 years), you may request account reactivation after the exclusion period ends. Reactivation is not automatic and requires a 7-day cooling-off period after your request. Permanent exclusions cannot be reversed.

Important: Self-exclusion applies only to phream. If you have accounts with other gaming operators, you must contact them separately to request exclusion. For comprehensive self-exclusion across all PAGCOR-licensed operators in the Philippines, consider enrolling in the national self-exclusion program (see PAGCOR Resources below).

Tips for Safe Gaming

Follow these simple guidelines to ensure your gaming experience on phream remains fun, safe, and under control.

Set a Budget and Stick to It

Before you start playing, decide how much money you can afford to lose. Treat this amount as the cost of entertainment, not as an investment. Never gamble with money you need for bills, rent, food, or other essential expenses. Use phream's deposit limit tools to enforce your budget automatically.

Set Time Limits

Gaming should not consume your entire day. Set a time limit for each session and stick to it. Use phream's session time limit and reality check features to remind yourself when it is time to take a break or log out. Balance gaming with other activities like work, family time, exercise, and hobbies.

Never Chase Losses

Losing is a normal part of gaming. If you lose money, accept it and move on. Do not try to win it back by playing more or increasing your bets. Chasing losses almost always leads to bigger losses and can quickly spiral out of control. If you find yourself chasing losses, take a break or self-exclude.

Take Regular Breaks

Long gaming sessions can impair your judgment and lead to poor decisions. Take regular breaks to clear your mind, stretch, and step away from the screen. Even a 10-minute break every hour can help you stay focused and in control. Use phream's Take a Break feature if you need a longer pause.

Do Not Gamble When Upset or Under the Influence

Avoid gaming when you are feeling stressed, anxious, depressed, or under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Emotional or impaired decision-making can lead to reckless behavior and significant losses. Gaming should be a fun and relaxing activity, not a way to cope with negative emotions or escape problems.

Talk to Someone You Trust

If you are concerned about your gaming habits, talk to a friend, family member, or professional counselor. Sharing your concerns with someone you trust can provide perspective and support. phream also offers access to professional gambling support services — see the resources section below.

Understand the Odds

All casino games, slots, and betting activities on phream are designed with a house edge, meaning the odds are always in favor of the platform over the long term. Gaming should be viewed as entertainment with a cost, not as a way to make money. Never rely on gaming as a source of income.

PAGCOR Responsible Gaming Resources

Self-Assessment: Is Your Gaming Under Control?

Answer the following questions honestly to assess whether your gaming habits may be becoming problematic. This is not a diagnostic tool, but it can help you recognize warning signs and decide whether you should seek help or use phream's responsible gaming tools.

1
Do you often gamble longer than you originally planned?
2
Have you ever lied to family or friends about how much time or money you spend on gaming?
3
Do you feel restless, irritable, or anxious when you try to cut down or stop gaming?
4
Have you borrowed money or sold possessions to fund your gaming?
5
Has gaming caused problems in your relationships, work, or school?
6
Do you gamble to escape from problems or to relieve feelings of stress, anxiety, or depression?
7
After losing money, do you feel compelled to return and try to win it back?
8
Have you made repeated unsuccessful attempts to control, cut back, or stop gaming?
If you answered "yes" to three or more of these questions, your gaming may be becoming problematic. Consider using phream's responsible gaming tools, such as deposit limits, session time limits, or self-exclusion. You may also benefit from speaking with a professional counselor or contacting a problem gambling helpline. phream is here to support you in maintaining a safe and healthy gaming experience.
